1. Partition
Break numbers into expanded form: hundreds, tens, and units (e.g. \(34 = 30 + 4\) and \(27 = 20 + 7\)).
2. Multiply Boxes
Multiply each row header by each column header. Tip: multiply the leading digits and count the zeroes!
3. Sum Totals
Add the partial products across each row, then add the row totals together to find the grand product.
