💡 Patterns in the Pythagoras Addition Table

Commutative Property

Notice that 3 + 5 and 5 + 3 both equal 8. The table is completely symmetrical across the main diagonal.

Diagonal Constants

Look along the diagonals going up-and-to-the-right: all cells on each diagonal share the exact same sum (e.g. 1+9, 2+8, 3+7 all equal 10).

Doubles & Even Numbers

The top-left to bottom-right diagonal shows doubles (1+1=2, 2+2=4, 3+3=6...). Every number along this diagonal is an even number!
